Simbury fully supports the Official Launch of Microelectronics Technology Consortium

Technology collaboration enhances the growth of microelectronics industry. Simbury graced the Official Launch of Microelectronics Technology Consortium (METC) held on 9 November 2022, cooperating with research institute, academia, university, government and industry to foster an advanced semiconductor ecosystem.

 “We are excited to see the establishment of METC which marks an important milestone of microelectronics industry in developing Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology (I&T) hub.” Dr. Meikei Ieong, Chairman, Simbury continued, “We truly believe the Consortium will collaborate the joint effort of all levels of stakeholders in the industry and facilitate the technology knowledge transfer and commercialisation.”

To unleash Hong Kong’s I&T potential, the Policy Address 2022 set out strategies in enhancing I&T ecosystem, enlarging I&T talent pool and proactively integrating into overall national development.
