Simbury Showcased High-Res Lossless Audio In HKUST Industry Engagement Day

Simbury proudly presented its latest cutting-edge UWB applications at the HKUST Industry Engagement Day. With the theme “Strengthening Hong Kong’s Electronics Industry via Microelectronics Innovation”, the event provided a remarkable platform for industry players, academia, and startups to shape the future of the microelectronics landscape in Hong Kong. Simbury was honored to be part of this exceptional event, which was organized by the HKUST Office of Knowledge Transfer, co-organized by ASTRI, and supported by SNA.

During the showcase, Simbury unveiled a range of cutting-edge UWB applications that generated significant interest and enthusiasm among the attendees. Simbury’s UWB wireless chipset enables a new class of short-range wireless connectivity for premium spatial audio applications. It offers data rates up to 16 Mbps, delivering high-fidelity, high-throughput and extreme low latency data transmission in wirelessly interconnected speakers. This enables the transmission of uncompressed audio performance that can’t be achieved with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

The event provided an invaluable opportunity for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and exploring potential partnerships. The exchange of ideas fostered the development of innovative solutions, propelling the industry forward.
