Vice President / Technical Director, Software Technologies

Job Responsibilities:
  • Define end-to-end software architectures for wireless solutions, considering market requirements, performance, security, and IC functionalities (UWB, NFC, BLE, Sensors).
  • Create specifications and documentation for software solutions.
  • Provide guidance on software integration into solutions such as RTLS, Audio, and IoT.
  • Estimate efforts for planning technical tasks.
  • Drive software system design, code development, and test plans to ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Define product and feature requirements.
  • Coordinate development activities and collaborate with multinational teams.
  • Work with international standards and industry consortiums.
Requirements:
  • PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
  • Experience in wireless technologies, understanding of wireless protocols and technologies like UWB, BLE, WiFi, etc. is a plus
  • Proficient in software architecture design.
  • Experience in software and system validation, with a focus on system-level functionality.
  • Solid programming skills in C/C++ for firmware development, debugging, and testing.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python/Matlab for data analysis and performance evaluation.
  • Knowledge of UWB ranging and localization techniques such as TWR, TDoA, and AoA.
  • Beneficial to have familiarity with RTOS and Android development.
  • Basic RF knowledge.
  • Experience in leading and guiding software development teams.
