Associate Principal Engineer / Senior Lead Engineer, Embedded Software

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for UWB technology.
  • Integrate firmware, drivers, and build reference applications in customer-oriented SDK.
  • Develop SDK and guide customers from project start to mass production.
  • Provide direct and indirect assistance to customers in software integration, development, testing, validation, and performance improvements for the company’s products.
  • Create evaluation tools and documentation to enhance the customer experience with evaluation kits.
  • Contribute to system level testing of the UWB ICs, evaluation boards and customer prototypes for applicable wireless standards, covering the physical layers, MAC layers and protocol layers.
  • Implement proof of concepts and customer demonstrations.
  • Produce technical documentation, such as user guides and application notes, to help customers understand and utilize the software effectively in specific applications and use cases.
  • PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
  • 10+ years of solid experience in wireless technologies, including BLE, WiFi, NFC, and UWB applications.
  • Experience with microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M), tools (Keil, IAR, GCC), and embedded Linux (development of kernel device drivers and user space applications).
  • Familiar with UWB standards like Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), FiRa and IEEE 802.15.4z.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB programming.
  • Experience in application development for embedded systems, such as single-board computers, AI SoCs, and MCUs with GPUs.
